The organic fraction is then conveyed to a heavy-duty shredder, which reduces the particle size and creates a uniform feed for efficient processing. The shredded material is transferred via a conveyor into the Atlas Technologies Dewatering Screw Press, where free moisture is mechanically removed without the need for chemicals. Mechanical dewatering offers a major advantage by significantly reducing moisture before composting.
