I moved from America to Romania to play professional basketball—but I wasn’t ready for what everyday life in Bucharest would look like. From Ferraris on the street to affordable food and a coffee shop around every corner, these are five things that surprised me during my first two weeks. 🇷🇴 In this Romania vlog, I’m sharing my experience as an American living in Bucharest: the luxury cars, getting around without driving, speaking English, food prices, fresh markets, coffee culture, and how safe I’ve personally felt exploring the city. Along the way, I talk about taking Lime scooters and Uber, grabbing food from LUCA, spotting 5 to go coffee shops everywhere, and how quickly a new country started feeling familiar.
