This is a quick unboxing and overview of the Netgear JGS524E 24-port Gigabit Ethernet Smart Managed Plus Switch. In this video I give you a quick look at what's on the out and inside of the box and quick look at my use case for this network switch. I purchased this unit from Amazon UK to replace my existing Netgear JGS524 unmanaged network switch which has been very reliable for many years. Recently however some ports have been a bit iffy and I've wanted a smart switch for a while now in order to setup VLANs within pfSense and segregate my home network traffic.
