Trail Ridge Road | Scenic Drive - Sunrise with Fall Colors | Rocky Mountain National Park | Colorado

Rocky Mountain National Park's Trail Ridge Road takes you up to over 12,000 feet where you can take in the views of the fall foliage, wildlife, and the continental divide. I started early morning from Estes Park just before sunrise and reached the summit in about 45 minutes. The video cuts off just before arriving to the Alpine Visitor Center. When it cuts off, I am nearing 11,000 feet. Once you reach 11,500 feet, nearly all the trees and large vegetation are gone. This elevation is known as the Alpine or Tundra region. Only grass and flowers survive at this altitude. #rockymountainnationalpark #scenicdrive #sunrise
