Nikon Zf vs Fujifilm X-E5 — Which One Actually Feels Like an Everyday Camera? As a long-time Nikon photographer turned Fujifilm shooter, I’m trying the Nikon Zf as an everyday carry camera. In this video I compare it to the Fujifilm X-E5 and, by extension the X-T series, from a real-world street photography perspective. Chapters: 00:00 Intro & Nikon Background 01:08 Nikon Zf: Expectations vs Reality 02:58 Why Compare Zf vs X-E5? 04:26 Shooting Experience: Simplicity vs Complexity 06:55 Build Quality & Design Philosophy 11:27 Video Features & What Nikon Should Do Next In this video I cover: • Why the Zf both nails and misses the vintage Fm2 / Fm3a vibe • Why the X-E5 succeeds as a “simple camera” even with fewer dials • Build quality, materials, and how each body will age • Nikon’s complex AF and menu design vs. Fuji’s simplicity • My thoughts on the Zf’s flip-out screen and video direction All Nikon shots are captured with the Nikkor 40mm f/2.8. Video creation gear: A whole sack of Fujifilm bodies plus the Zf itself. But mostly the X-H2s, X-E5, X-T30III and Insta360 GO 3 and my Fairphone 5. Editing: DaVinci Resolve + ‪@Dehancer‬ to take the digital edge off. If you're curious about Dehancer, check it out here: https://www.dehancer.com/ Use code RUMLE10 for 10% off. Sound design: My own puzzle-like mixed with sprinkles from Erik Satie - Gnossienne No. 1 (piano arrangement by Hiroshi Munekawa). https://www.classicals.de/satie-gymno... To make this video possible I had the Nikon Zf on loan from GOECKER.DK and the X-E5 from ‪@FUJIFILMNORDIC‬ Thanks #StreetPhotography #PhotographyGear #POVPhotography #Photowalk #CameraReview
