DT175 Cylinder Boring, Piston Mods, Piston discussion

In this video I briefly discuss pistons in general and what can be used for the 1975 Yamaha DT175. I also bore the DT175 cylinder to .25 mm to accept a CT1 piston, which I also modify by machining reed valve windows in the piston skirt, needed for the DT175. I bore the cylinder using the Bridgeport milling machine and a Criterion boring head. I also hone the cylinder using the Sunnen honing machine, and chamfer the ports using the Foredom grinder. #motorcyclerepair #machining
