Hydra Gave Me Everything.... Except What I Came For.

This week on SpicyIron Adventures, I took on the Alchemical Hydra for the very first time on my Old School RuneScape Ironman! I started the week at 0 Alchemical Hydra KC with one goal in mind — getting the Hydra's Claw. Two Hydra Slayer tasks and 352 Alchemical Hydra kills later, things definitely didn't go according to plan... Along the way we managed to pull the Hydra's Eye, Hydra Heads, and even the Ikkle Hydra pet — but the one drop I actually came to the Alchemical Hydra for continued to avoid me. This wasn't just a drop hunt, though. Starting with absolutely no Alchemical Hydra experience, I slowly learned the fight, improved my strategy, and watched my kill times get faster and faster. By the end of the grind I was averaging around 2:22 per Hydra kill and managed to set a new personal best of 2:00! Will the Hydra's Claw finally make its way onto the Ironman, or will we have to come back for another round? Welcome back to SpicyIron Adventures, my progression-focused OSRS Ironman series following the grinds, upgrades, bossing, Slayer, goals, dry streaks, spooned drops, and everything else that comes with playing an Ironman in Old School RuneScape.
