Food — the quantity, quality, and variety you can regularly afford. Healthcare — access to medical care and medicines. Education — access to quality education. Transportation — the ease and quality of getting around. Utilities and technology — electricity, water, internet, appliances, etc. Leisure and recreation — what you can afford to do beyond basic necessities. Financial security — savings, investments, and ability to handle unexpected expenses. What does it mean to “go up” in standard of living?
