Lullaby for Noemi – Gothic Version is a darker interpretation of the same melody that began as a lullaby hummed beside my daughter’s crib. Around four years ago, when Noemi was still a baby, I used to hum this melody to her as she was falling asleep. I recorded it with my own voice simply so I wouldn’t forget it. The original melody remains the same. This time, however, it enters a completely different world — darker, heavier, more dramatic and mysterious. That is one of the ideas behind this project: a melody does not have to belong to only one musical style. The same theme can become intimate, orchestral, ambient, gothic, rock or something entirely unexpected. One melody. Different emotions. Different stories. Technology is the workshop.
