A quick escape from the cold Canadian winter and Cuba was a very affordable choice. We have been to Cuba 3 times before but this was our first time with kids. We love the cuban culture, the people and the music so we were excited to go back and support their economy. We heard stories of shortages, and sometimes blackouts, but didn't experience it too much. All in all it was a great trip with our kids and some friends. If you're heading to Cuba, bring extra snacks, and fly repellant/after bite. Also do some research on how to tip or what to gift to the locals.
