The Neumann Weapons | Gray-Goo

Self-replicating Von Neumann probes, similar to Grey Goo or Berserkers, are crucial to the Dark Forest Hypothesis. Many consider these alien machines to be one of the Great Filters and a possible explanation for the Fermi Paradox. Compared to Sophons from 3 Body Problem series, they are much easier to create, yet far more destructive.
