The Varro Codex Vol I Tartarus Blood Ravens at the Waterworks Entry 002

The Captain leads the Blood Ravens into the jungle to find the source of the Ork invasion. What they find is a fortified Ork camp at the waterworks. Scout snipers eliminate the Ork Nob before two squads descend in drop pods alongside the Captain. The base is cleared, a foothold established, and the frontline pushed deep into the forest. Cut-off brothers are rescued, a Killa Kan is destroyed, and the Imperial Guardsmen are saved. The Orks are broken. But as the dust settles, something far worse makes itself known. A Chaos Sorcerer begins taunting the Blood Ravens' Librarian. Brother Marcus Varro records his account. He does not yet understand what it means.
