Scotland 2026 | Our Final Day! Ecclefechan Tart, Gretna Green & The Lake District

Join us for the final day of our Scottish adventure! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 After a wonderful few days exploring Scotland, it's time to begin our journey home — but not before squeezing in a few more stops along the way! We start the day at Cressfield Country Hotel in Ecclefechan, where we enjoy a full Scottish breakfast before checking out and heading off on our travels. 🍳 Next, we're off to Lockerbie in search of a local favourite, the famous Ecclefechan tart! 🥧 We then make a stop at Gretna Green to pick up some souvenirs and have one last little look around before crossing back into England. Our journey takes us through the beautiful Lake District, where we stop at Ullswater to take in the stunning scenery and, of course, enjoy a well-deserved ice cream! 🍦🏞️ Finally, it's time to drop Laura off before Ace and I continue our journey home, bringing our Scottish road trip to an end. It's been a fantastic few days filled with beautiful scenery, historic places, wildlife, lovely little discoveries and plenty of memories. Thank you for joining us on this adventure!
