It's 14 April 1912 and you're a third-class passenger on the Titanic, with lifeboat seats for fewer than 1,200 of the 2,200 people aboard. The ship can carry 3,320 people but has boats for about a third of them. Third-class tickets cost about 7 pounds, and two bathtubs reportedly served more than 700 passengers. Hour by hour, this video follows the night of 14 to 15 April from the third-class stairways, the bridge, the wireless room and the stokehold.
