What happens when a weird-looking Amethyst/Emerald control deck takes 1st AND 2nd place in a 128-player Lorcana tournament?! Today we're taking the winning list from the Woodzshacktcg Multi Case CCQ onto the ranked ladder to see if this Retro Evolution Device deck is the real deal. This deck is built around Retro Evolution Device, using cards like Aladdin & Genie – Mischievous Pals, Milo Thatch, Chernabog, and Prince Phillip to generate huge swings of value while controlling the board. The deck looked strange at first—no 1-drops, no 4-drops, and some cards I definitely wasn't expecting to see—but after playing it, I was seriously impressed by how well everything fits together.
