In Week 6 of our Romans series, Pastor Daniel unpacks Paul's declaration in Romans 8 that we are "more than conquerors" through Christ. A conqueror earns the win through their own effort, but someone who is more than a conqueror inherits the reward through relationship, without having done the work themselves. That's our identity in Jesus, the ultimate Conqueror who defeated sin, death, and the grave on our behalf. But if that's true, why does life still feel like we are losing in our marriages, our finances, our health? Pastor Daniel walks through four questions Paul gives us to ask in the middle of a spiritual battle: Who is really against us? Will God provide? Who can bring a charge against us? And can anything separate us from His love? Along the way, he names the three real enemies we face; our own flesh, the devil, and the world's culture. He reminds us that being attacked is inevitable, but being defeated is not. God's love isn't a feeling we chase; it's a fact proven at the cross.
