Week of Rivers Day Five Upper Nantahala PFD 250CFS 7/1/26

After our lower Nanty run we waited and swapped boats anticipating the Upper Nantahala release. Geeting to the put in and seeing the verticality and constant horizon lines was certainly a bit intimidating but I was able to relax once I got on the water and felt that I did belong there. I did have two annoying swims. One at troll hole where my paddle got swiped from my hands and a second one very shortly after falling into a hole sideways. I will be back to clean this run up though.
