Upbeat Synthwave jam with Roland S-1, LXR-02, Vhikk X and Model D

The inception of this track was a few notes from Airdrawndagger. Tips support the daily uploads and new gear: https://ko-fi.com/cameronc As much as I'd like an SH-101, over time I've come to appreciate the S-1's ability to reproduce the SH-101. Still too menu-divey for me, but I digress. I experimented a bit, dialing in the sharp attack and just right decay to simulate a pluck, dialed in the reverb and worked out how to get the delay pinging just right. The notes on the S-1 were light and airy, and I thought a fairly soft attack and delayed bass could fit well. A good amount of "synth a day" was spent dialing the S-1 and Model D, a their requisite effects. I added some filter sweeps from the Vhikk X, ultimately settling on a tone harmonized with the first note from the Model D, an F, for the sweeps and drone. With all of that, it felt like it was missing percussion, and the LXR-02 is my go-to for percussion tracks. The track is still evolving, but I'm running out of inputs!
