Byzantine Empire: Every Month | The Reigns of Basil II & Constantine VIII (976-1028)

Here is my sixth video. We're continuing our series on the Macedonian emperors with, this time, the most emblematic emperor of the Byzantine empire: Basil II, as well as his brother Constantine VIII. This marks the end of the Macedonian dynasty in the male line. The next video, if it ever gets made, will be about the actual end of the dynasty with Zoe and Theodora (and their husbands). Again, many thanks to TRAINAmapping, ‪Khey Pard and Ollie Bye for inspiring me. Chapters: 00:00 - Intro 00:28 - Basil's reign 03:55 - Constantine's reign 04:34 - Outro
