Welcome to the third and (as of now) final ranking of Cartoon Beatbox Battles’ first season!
Firstly, I wanna give credit to @SchaffrillasProductions for the style of the ranking, as it’s mostly akin to his style, instead of me doing it how Nathaniel Bandy does
I also wanna thank @verbalase for all the heart and soul he puts into this series, making it the best he could make it and giving me so much inspiration over the years.
Finally, I wanna thank YOU for watching and supporting these videos! I hope I can make something else y’all will enjoy now that my CBB ranking journey is over for the foreseeable future. As always, keep on being happy!

Update - 8/29/2026
Hi, if you're reading this, this is Xavier/HapMan, 3 years have passed since the release of this video and I wanted to give some sort of update to this with some Q&A. As you're probably aware, I've long since moved on from Verbalase and Cartoon Beatbox Battles, and there's been a lot of content released since Skipper Vs Dave, which was the latest episode to release at the time of this video. I've stated before that I wasn't a fan of how CBB was handled towards the end of it's first season, and I still wasn't fond of most of the content to release afterwards, with the exception of 1 or 2 episodes I thought were okay. Ase's poor management of CBB caused him to make a lot of bad decisions that further stripped away CBB's identity, all the way until CBB ended up ending production, in which I'm disappointed to hear about. Despite everything, I do not wish anything bad on Adym himself, and I hope that his content is something that can resonate with me once again in the future, but as of now I do not plan to do anymore videos about Verbalase or CBB.
Q&A:
Q - Do you know about the Hide Away/$50K schandal?
A - I've known about it since 2021, where he showed a gif of it in his discord server.
Q - Do you still think Deadpool vs Patrick is a tie?
A - Yes. I'm aware Ase confirmed Patrick won on a livestream, and that doesn't change my opinion, I still am happy with either result.
Q - Do you plan to remake this list?
A - No, this is my final ranking for the show, and I still heavily agree with almost all of my placements.
Q - Do you plan to talk about Imagine If/Loser Round?
A - No. I'm aware that he's now doing Loser Rounds for Goofy and Darkseid and did an episode with Spongebob and Sonic, but I honestly can't say I was impressed or am interested enough to cover them in the future.
Q - Why did you lose interest in Verbalase/CBB?
A - Many reasons, some personal. But mainly it was due to the decisions Ase made and how he managed the series and the community it's built. I don't like how he made changes to the show over him not agreeing with the outcome and blaming his audience for voting off character, and especially with him blaming his audience's attention spans for his content simply not appealing to people anymore. Most of them leaving BECAUSE of his poor decisions.
Q - Do you still like season 1?
A - I do. I still rewatch it and listen to some of my favorite solos from time to time.
Q - Do you dislike Verbalase or regret being a fan?
A - Not at all. Like it or not, Ase has made a huge impact on my life, and so have these videos. I don't at all regret making these videos and being a fan in the first place, Ase was someone who inspired me and still is someone I think is genuinely talented. Rather if I enjoy what he makes now or not, that is not something I'm going to blatantly ignore. I just wish he can see the bigger picture instead of looking at things face value and make snarky remarks whenever he disagrees with anyone. But I could never dislike him or think of him negatively overall.
Q - What type of content do you make now?
A - I make discussion videos on Sonic/Games, Anime and Battle for Dream Island. I also make my own animated series, you're more than welcomed to check that stuff out, if not, no worries of course.
Thank you for reading and watching, I really appreciated this journey. While I don't look at new CBB very positively, I also don't want that to affect how I view this chapter of my life. Even with my disagreements and the things outside the show that irk me to this day, I still appreciate what Cartoon Beatbox Battles represents. If there ever is a day where Ase's content receives a resurgence in quality and Ase admits to his faults, I'll be more than happy to support the show and become a fan again. But alas, I have chosen to move on, but still remember the fondness I have for this era in my life. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
