Left 4 Dead 2 Lone Gunman Dark Carnival

Lone Gunman is a mutation in Left 4 Dead 2 designed for solo play, where the survivor must face the infected completely alone without any AI or human teammates. In this mode, the only Special Infected that appear are Boomers, along with Tanks and Witches, while all other Special Infected are disabled. Throwable items such as pipe bombs, molotovs, and bile bombs are available and useful for controlling hordes. Defibrillators still spawn but are useless since there are no teammates to revive, and healing items spawn normally, allowing the player to recover if used wisely. Lone Gunman emphasizes careful movement, accurate shooting, and smart use of resources, creating a tense survival-focused experience that relies entirely on the player’s individual skill.
