The Reality of Moving Our Family to Vietnam (What We Had to Consider)

We’re officially preparing to move our family from Florida to Da Nang, Vietnam, but moving abroad with two young kids is about a lot more than cheaper living and better weather. In this episode of our Moving to Vietnam series, Amanda and I talk through some of the biggest things we had to consider before making this decision, including raising our kids internationally, learning new languages and cultures, leaving family behind, education, friendships, opportunities, and our biggest fears about moving overseas with children. We also explain why we believe this is the right time to make the move and why creating more time together as a family has become one of our biggest priorities. We don’t know exactly where this journey will take us or how long Vietnam will be home, but we’re bringing you along for the entire process as we prepare to build a new life in Da Nang.
