In this video, I’m sharing my process for painting a green leaf in watercolor. There are so many different ways to paint leaves, and this is simply my approach. You might find your own way of doing things — and that’s completely okay! There’s no strict rule in art, just what works best for you. I found this leaf during a hike in the French Alps, near Lake Lauvitel. I was drawn to its intricate surface and took a photo so I could paint it later (it definitely wouldn’t have survived the hike back!). I think using your own reference photos is a great way to capture and revisit special memories through painting. In this video, I used: Sap green, ultramarine blue, yellow, burnt sienna, and sepia watercolors Masking fluid A very fine brush for details, a soft brush for blending, and a larger brush to wet the surface Hot-pressed Arches 100% cotton paper Thank you so much for watching! I hope you enjoyed the video and found it helpful. Music by: YouTube creators studio, Oliver Moilanen from Pixabay, Zakhar Valaha from Pixabay Find me on Instagram :   / evgeniia.by.art
