March Creek Road Level Crossing, Cambridgeshire

March Creek Road Level Crossing, March, Cambridgeshire on the Ely to Peterborough Line. Location: Creek Road, March Date Filmed: 17-07-2021 - Nearest Station: March - Trains: Class 755 (Greater Anglia) Also known as March South Level Crossing. One of four crossings in the town of March, Cambridgeshire. This crossing is located beside March South signal box, and spans across four tracks, two of which are sidings. As a result of the angle of the road over the tracks, and the presence of a side-road, there is one long barrier and three short barriers. There is also five warning lights, one of which is facing the side-road. However, there are no left turn signs for traffic emerging so the additional warning light is not necessarily required. The signalling around March still uses semaphore signals, so the signal boxes in March continue to be in operation. Thanks For Watching!
