Main Scriptures: Psalm 119:105, Genesis 1:1-5, Genesis 1:14-19, John 1:1-5, John 8:12 On Sunday, August 16th we received the I WANT TO SEE: The Rite Light from Pastor Q Wilson, taught from Psalm 119:105. The third instalment of this series, centred around the gift of spiritual sight and achieving oneness with God. This was a word of spiritual advancement, a crash course on the truth behind God’s teaching of Light and darkness, and Bible study with Jesus at the centre. There are two lights in this world, The light of life itself which is Jesus as the physical manifestation of God’s Word. And the light of death, (yes even darkness can shine). If you dig deeper into the teachings in the book of Genesis, specifically the serpent that deceived Eve in the garden which led to the original sin of all mankind you’ll find that word serpent translates to “the shiny one”, “deceiver”, or “enchanter”. The name lucifer in latin means “light bringer” or “morning star”. In Hebrew, it to "shining one, son of the dawn". Eve was not deceived by a literal snake, she was deceived by the fallen angel lucifer. If both Jesus the light of life itself, and lucifer “the shiny one” both shine light, how do we follow “The Rite Light?” Within our walk with Christ our natural eyes can only take us so far, in order to follow the right light with need our spiritual eyes to be opened and walk with our Jesus flashlight.
