MTA New York City Bus: 1998 Nova Bus RTS-06 4983 In Action On The Q59 Bus Route (2018)

This is long overdue, but better late than never. Here's a full length video of old clips of mine that I've put together of a now long retired 1998 Nova Bus RTS-06, numbered 4983, in action on the Williamsburg Bridge Plaza bound Q59 bus route. All these clips were taken on Monday, October 1, 2018. This bus along with the remainder of this particular fleet was retired by early to mid 2019. At the time these were taken, 4983 was one of the last three 1998 Nova Bus RTS-06s to operate service out of Grand Avenue Depot in Brooklyn (the other two being 4946 and 4997). What you'll see here is 4983 arriving at the bus stop on Junction Boulevard and Horace Harding Expressway. It is then seen idling at that stop for a while before shutting off its engine. You'll then see it start up its engine and depart from there, as well as seeing me chase it down, slowly making its way to the bus stop on Queens Boulevard and 62nd Drive. After it arrives there, it shuts off its engine again for a brief period of time before it starts its engine back up again, and then finally, you'll see it depart one last time from that stop, as well as me chasing it down one last time during its final departure. I will say and admit that this was a very hectic experience for me seeing this bus in action like this. It really drained the energy out of me!
