The Lost Book of Chanakya That Vanished for 2,000 Years
Chanakya is one of the most famous names in Indian history: the genius who made Chandragupta Maurya an emperor and destroyed the mighty Nanda dynasty. But the Greek ambassador at Chandragupta's court never mentions him. No Mauryan inscription names him. And his famous book, the Arthashastra, was lost for centuries until a manuscript turned up in a Mysore library in 1905.
So was Chanakya real? In this video, we look at every piece of evidence: the texts, the legends, the lost book, and what historians actually believe.
