To make LEGO objects fly, you have to isolate them from their background. In this tutorial, I'll show you different ways to do this. And I also show you the pros and cons of each method. To do so, I used examples from the chapters featuring Moaning Myrtle, the Quidditch matches, Buckbeak in flight, the Snitch with animated wings, and also some flying crows coming from the stud.io software. In this video, I show my workflows using the video editing software DaVinci Resolve. If you have any questions on this topic, please post them in the comments. 00:00 Intro 00:08 The basics 00:18 Method 1: Chroma keying 01:27 Method 2: Masking 02:41 Method 3: Magic Mask 03:57 Composite Example 05:03 The Snitch 06:25 Flying Buckbeak 07:32 Flying Ford Anglia 08:01 Objects from stud.io Music by Brickhausen
