What if 59 FA-50s launched Cheonryong cruise missiles all at once?
This video imagines a dramatic mass launch scenario, featuring all 59 FA-50 light combat aircraft taking off and firing simultaneously. While such perfect synchronization is highly unrealistic in real-world operations, the stealth and survivability of the Cheonryong (Heavenly Dragon) air-to-ground cruise missile are very real.
Designed for low observability and ultra-low flight, Cheonryong is extremely difficult to detect—even for the dense radar and air defense networks around Pyongyang. Its radar cross-section is minimal, and it flies so low and fast that even visual detection comes after it has passed. For many North Korean targets, Cheonryong could strike before any meaningful response is possible.
With an estimated range of 300–400 km, this weapon can reach most of North Korea. Though this video shows the missile in its red test paint scheme, a combat-ready version does exist. We chose the test model for clearer visual storytelling, as it matches what has been publicly shown in media.
Note: This is not a war simulation or battle scenario. Instead, it is a conceptual visualization of the Cheonryong missile’s capabilities—particularly its stealthy launch and precision strike behavior.
We hope you enjoy this cinematic take.
