General Hospital - July 1998 - Alan's Drug Addiction Part 7

Part 7. Detective Taggart receives a phone call. Ned and AJ promise to take care of Emily on her photoshoot. They think it'll take Emily's mind off of Alan. Monica goes to get Alan to plunk him in a detox place but Alan has slipped away. Alan has gone to Courtland Street to find the person who mugged him (he wants his pills back). He accosts a couple of people, one of whom tries to strangle him. The police arrive and the guy runs off. Taggart had a tip there was a whacked out caucasion terrorrizing the neighbourhood. Taggart begins his harassment of Alan (it lasts for a while.) Alan tries to explain his presence in the neighbourhood, his condition and his leave of absence from the hospital. Taggart strings Alan along. Ned tells Monica that Alan drove off. Monica tells Ned that she loves Alan... even the ghost of Alan that still haunts the house (man, wouldn't that be nice in the current version of this show???).
