Street Theory Sounds is a Listening Gallery series exploring the intersection of sound, art, and culture through curated DJ sets presented in an intimate gallery setting. Recorded live at Street Theory Gallery & Collective in Cambridge, MA. Listening Gallery Session 01 features legendary Boston DJ, producer, and artist 7L. A pioneering force in underground hip-hop and one half of the acclaimed duo 7L & Esoteric, 7L's approach to DJing is rooted in deep musical knowledge, technical precision, and decades of record collecting. This session moves fluidly through hip-hop, funk, soul, breaks, and rare selections that have shaped both his career and the culture. Street Theory Gallery & Collective is a contemporary art gallery and nonprofit arts incubator rooted in street culture and community.
