Nikon D3400 - buy it or not?

Nikon D3400 is a very popular dSLR camera. It succeeds Nikon D3300 and is followed by Nikon D3500. I review Nikon D3400 to answer the question how good the camera is in 2021, several years after its release. Is it still worth it in 2021? Is it a good buy and recommended even now? Is it better or worse than Nikon D3300 or D3500. Perhaps you are considering buying a used Nikon D3400 and would like to know if it's a good idea and what I think of it after getting to know it well.
