Mahoning Valley Speedway Park

Located in the beautiful Pocono Mountains lies probably the smallest bullring any track designer can build. Mahoning Valley Speedway Park opened in the 1950s as a 1/4-mile dirt oval and as the years have gone by, the only real change that the speedway saw was a paving job to it's surface. The track has seen fantastic drivers and dedicated fans walk through it's gate era after era, year after year. As the 2025 season came to a close, the track and it's community had to look at an uncertain future in the eyes and come to terms with the possibility that this Saturday Night home might've had it's final chapter written. Thankfully during the offseason, one of the tracks dedicated fans was able to step up to the plate and ink a deal with the track owner for at least one last season. The new management team has already made improvements to the Speedway Park, and although the future is rocky, the sky seems to be the limit if everything does work out in the end. Bear Racing Vlogs was started as a way to capture and preserve the memory of local, small town short track racing in the northeast. I try to visit as many tracks as I can, "covering" both big races like the Super DIRTcar Series, and small shows like a weekly racing program.
