After camping near the Organ Mountains at Oliver Lee Memorial State Park, I drove toward one of the most surreal places in America : White Sands National Park, New Mexico. What started as a cloudy and stormy day slowly turned into one of the most magical sunsets I’ve ever witnessed on this Alaska to Argentina road trip. The endless white dunes, dramatic storm clouds, golden light breaking through the sky, and complete silence of the desert made this place feel unreal… almost like another planet.
