Crazy descent of the Cline River Canyon, Alberta

June 25 2017 Put in: Coral Creek, take trail from White Goat staging area and follow to Coral Creek. Trail turns into straight cutline for last km or two (along Hwy 11). Narrow goat trail (for scouting) branches off from main trail, about 500 meters in, and takes you to edge of river. Take out: Abraham Lake, Hwy 11 Access: Hike in, steep access down into canyon at Coral Creek. Rope rappel/kayak belay. Scout: River left, can view the entire run, including a couple very narrow slots, from goat trail along the top of canyon. Distance: 3 kms Time: 20 mins of paddling; 3-4 hours including hike in and scouting. Flow: normal for late June - high point for the season.
