The Ultimate Jungle BBQ: Fresh Bamboo Cooking in Laos

Foraging Bamboo shoots and bbq (grilling) in Laos rain forest out side of Vientiane, Laos. The Sunday morning we went were raining on and off all day until we left. I had to bring our own coals , bought some fish and chickens to enjoy with our fresh bamboo shoots. We also made papaya salad and shrimp salad as well. Eating in the rainforest for the first time was very fun experience for me. I also brought my bluetooth speaker so we can karaoke. Only one lady enjoyed singing so much there. She was so happy with a full stomach and her singing. The stream was so beautiful, reminded me being back home in Michigan. I didn’t see any fish in the stream there.
