Brookhaven Today - Greenwood Village

🎉 40 years of friendship, fellowship and community! Supervisor Dan Panico, Councilwoman Karen Dunne Kesnig and Suffolk County Executive Ed Romaine joined more than 100 residents in Manorville to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Greenwood Village Senior Citizens Club. Founded in 1986, the club has brought residents together for four decades through activities, trips, luncheons and countless shared experiences. To recognize this special milestone, the Town of Brookhaven officially proclaimed August 11, 2026, as Greenwood Village Senior Citizens Club Day. Congratulations to the club’s members, leadership and everyone who has helped keep this wonderful community tradition going strong for 40 years!
