From medicine vs surgery, to inpatient vs outpatient, to lifestyle, pace, and patient population… this is a practical way to think through the decision. This isn’t about finding the perfect specialty—it’s about getting close enough that it actually fits you. 🔔 Subscribe for real, honest insights into medicine, healthcare, and personal growth:    / @joshkorzanmd   Chapters: 00:00 Introduction 00:48 Ok, so you made it to medical school 02:30 Surgical Specialties 02:49 OB-GYN 03:02 Surgery 03:18 Medical Specialties 03:36 Psychiatry 03:52 Neurology 04:21 Pediatrics 04:33 Internal Medicine (1/2) 05:01 Family Medicine 05:16 Emergency Medicine 05:53 Internal Medicine (2/2) 06:17 Other Considerations 07:44 My Algorithm/Experiences 08:25 Surgery vs. Medicine 08:38 OB-GYN 09:20 Surgery 10:55 Medical Specialties 11:21 Jack-of-all-Trades 11:34 Adults vs. Kids 11:59 Family Med vs. *Emergency 12:32 My Specialty of Choice ✨ Visit here for RP Strength training and diet plans!
