The experiment is carried out in the Norwegian Motion-Lab at the University of Agder, Grimstad. During the experiment, both Stewart platforms were subjected to asynchronous stochastic heave, roll and pitch movements. These motions were measured using the Kongsberg Motion Reference Unit (MRU) type H. Also, the MRU data from the secondary platform simulating the secondary vessel was transferred wirelessly using the Kongsberg Mobile Broadband Radio (MBR).
