Qualitative Molecular Orbital Diagrams of Diatomic Molecules

In this video we will generate qualitative molecular orbital (MO) diagrams of some homo- and heteronuclear diatomic, specifically: dilithium, diberyllium, diboron, difluorine, hydrogen fluoride, and carbon monoxide. The concept of orbital mixing will also be introduced. Some of the chemistry of these molecules will be discussed in relation to the resulting MO diagrams.
