Entry IV: The Hollow Heir
Location: Unknown Sub-Dungeon
I awoke in a cold, dim cell with nothing but a flickering bonfire for light. My body felt wrong. Looking down, my ash-gray skin had turned deathly pale, gaunt, and translucent. Even my hair was gone. Reaching inward to ignite even a simple spark, I found absolute void—years of grueling Telvanni spellwork vanished. My power was stripped clean.
Suddenly, a soothing voice echoed inside my mind, taking the shape of a blind old man clad in rags. He spoke of mutual salvation, urging me to find someone named Lyris.
Before I could process his words, a giant of a Nord woman shattered my cell door with a single blow from her massive battleaxe. Lyris Titanborn. I don't know who she is, nor if she can be trusted, but in a pit like this, a heavy axe is the only leverage I have. I fall in behind her, keeping my guard up.
Entry V: The Realm of Schemes
Location: Coldharbour
As we fought through the halls, Lyris revealed the grim truth. We weren't in Tamriel, but in Coldharbour—the Daedric realm of Molag Bal. The cultists who slaughtered my village were the Worm Cult, led by Mannimarco, and my soul had been sacrificed to the Lord of Schemes. I was dead, reduced to a hollow Soul Shriven.
We reached the Prophet's prison, but a barrier of Daedric fire blocked our way. Lyris led me to Cadwell, an ancient, hopelessly eccentric Soul Shriven who guided us through a trap-filled undercraft to bypass the wards.
Entry VI: A Price Paid in Souls
Location: Coldharbour Sub-Dungeon
To free the Prophet from his prison, the magic demanded an exchange—a living soul had to take his place. Lyris stepped forward without hesitation, sacrificing her freedom so we could escape.
As the ritual began, Daedra attempted to breach the chamber. Driven by instinct, I used a spark of the power I used to have to put them down, I can feel my power is there, but at the same time, it seems it is asleep within me. With every move of hands, a faint ember of my magic sparked back to life. The ritual succeeded, sealing Lyris in a Daedric cage, but I swore to return for her before we fled.
Entry VII: Defying a God
Location: Anchor Mooring
The Prophet led me toward an Anchor Mooring to open a portal home. Before we could reach it, Molag Bal himself manifested, summoning a towering creature to crush us. Channeling the Prophet’s holy light and my own returning arcane sparks, we brought the beast down.
To anchor my physical form back to Nirn, the Prophet summoned a Skyshard—a fragment of divine magic—for me to absorb. Calling upon Akatosh, God of Time, he tore open a rift through the void, and we plunged into the light.
Entry VIII: Stranded in the Surf
Location: Bleakrock Isle / Stros M'Kai / Khenarthi's Roost
I awoke washed ashore, pulled from the waves by local survivors. A spectral projection of the Prophet warned me that while we escaped, Molag Bal’s Dark Anchors threaten all of Tamriel, and my soul remains trapped in Oblivion.
I am an exile without a soul, stripped of my family's legacy, but the blood of Fyr still runs in my veins. My journey to reclaim my power, rescue Lyris, and avenge my clan starts now.
