Parallel DC Generators given Resistances (TAGALOG)

Two dc generators are connected in parallel to supply a load of 1500 A. One generator has an armature resistance of 0.5 ohms and an emf of 400 V while the other has an armature resistance of 0.04 ohms and an emf of 440 V. The resistances of shunt fields are 100 ohms and 80 ohms respectively. Calculate the currents I1 and I2 supplied by individual generator and terminal voltage V of the combination. Ans. I1 = 33.8 A, I2 = 1466.2 A, V = 381.2 V Two shunt generators each with an armature resistance of 0.01 ohm and field resistance of 20 ohms run in parallel and supply a total load of 4000 A. The emfs are respectively 210 v and 220 v. Calculate the bus bar voltage and the output current of each machine. Ans. V = 194.9 V, I1 = 1500 A, I2 = 2500 A
