📍 CEDAR RIDGE PRESERVE — DALLAS, TEXAS What does one of the best hiking spots near Dallas look like from the sky? 🚁🌳 In this video from Kabod Foto Video, I take you on a short aerial and ground-level look at Cedar Ridge Preserve, a beautiful natural area where you can escape the city and enjoy hiking, nature, trees, and incredible Texas scenery. 📍 ADDRESS: Cedar Ridge Preserve 7171 Mountain Creek Pkwy Dallas, TX 75249 🥾 WHAT MAKES THIS PLACE UNIQUE? One of the coolest things about this trail is how different it looks from the air compared to being on the ground. As you hike the trails, you're surrounded by trees and natural shade. 🌳🌿 But when I launched my drone from an open spot and flew it above the preserve, I discovered something amazing: From the sky, the entire area looks like a massive green canopy. 🤯🌳 You can barely see the people hiking below because they're completely covered by the trees. It almost looks like there's nobody on the trails… but there are hikers underneath that beautiful canopy the entire time! 🥾🌲 🚁 THE DRONE VIEW I found a spot where I could safely launch the drone and fly around the area. Once the drone went up, the view completely changed. Green trees everywhere. Hidden trails below. Nature surrounding you. And the Dallas area just beyond it. It's a great reminder that you don't always have to travel far to find beautiful places to explore. ❤️ 📍 HOW TO GET THERE: Cedar Ridge Preserve is located at 7171 Mountain Creek Parkway in Dallas, Texas, southwest of downtown Dallas and within the Dallas–Fort Worth area. If you're coming from Dallas, take US-67 south and connect toward Mountain Creek Parkway, then follow Mountain Creek Pkwy to the preserve.
