Canoeing the Chenango river: Oxford - Brisben, NY l Northstar Canoes l Northwind Solo l Phoenix

Recently myself and friend Marty canoed 10 miles of the Chenango river between Oxford & Brisben, NY. The water levels were really low and in one spot we even had to get out and line our canoes. There was quite a bit of debris from past high water and flooding. I however enjoyed the short quick water we encountered as well. Lots of bumps and scrapes on our Northstar Canoes but it was a fun day on the river. This would be my first time out this year and it is exactly what I needed!
