Lionel PRR T1 Duplex Overhaul (TMCC) Cruise Control, Chuffing / Smoke, Lights and MORE!

Welcome back to another video on the bench today upgrading my Pennsylvania railroad T1 duplex. This engine has been one of my favorites for many years, but I have not had an opportunity to purchase one until recently. This engine debuted from Lionel in the year 2000 included TMCC, Rail Sounds, a very strong Pittman motor that operated off of DC and a wireless drawbar. These engines from this era spring boarded us into what Lionel provides today with their legacy locomotives. This upgrade includes a new cruise commander M along with chuffing smoke, upgraded chuff rate, new and improved smoke, changed LED lighting , and new sounds from an older locomotive. Enjoy!
