Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra & Beastgrip gear | Lens Test: Wide, Tele, Macro, Anamorphic & DOF Adapter

This video shows how the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra performs when paired with the Beastgrip Pro Universal Rig and a full set of Beastgrip lenses and accessories. All footage was recorded in the native camera app using Pro Mode at 4K 60fps with the new Log profile. Compared to the previous generation’s natural look, the Log profile provides more flexibility for grading and helps achieve a more balanced, cinematic image. We tested the Galaxy S25 Ultra with wide, telephoto, and macro lenses, as well as both 1.33x and 1.55x anamorphic lenses. Using Samsung’s Assistant Camera app, we enabled anamorphic de-squeeze and DOF Adapter orientation correction, which made it easier to work with anamorphic and depth-of-field footage. For the DOF test, we used the Beastgrip DOF Adapter MK3 with a Helios 58mm f/2 lens, adding shallow depth of field and character to the image. All shots were either handheld or with the Beastgrip BT-60 mini tripod. The overall results show that the combination of the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s Pro Mode Log profile and Beastgrip gear makes for a capable setup for mobile filmmaking, with each lens performing reliably across different conditions.
