⸻ 🏝️ Relax Away Halfmoon Cay | What We Forgot to Record! 😂🐎 Alright guys, this is our second port, and isn’t it beautiful?! 🏝️☀️ The weather is completely different from yesterday’s port at Celebration Key. Today we have partly cloudy skies, no rain in the forecast, and those gorgeous blue waters! 💙 Just look at that! It’s quite a long walk to get to land—1,005 feet to be exact! The new pier just opened in 2026 and replaces the old tendering process. And honestly, being able to simply walk off the ship is definitely preferred! 🚢 Now, I wasn’t even going to post this video because my microphone wasn’t working 🤪, so you’re getting a voiceover instead. BUT… I wanted to make sure you guys knew something that I didn’t know before coming here, and you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about in just a few minutes! 👀 One thing we noticed right away is that there isn’t a swimming beach directly next to the pier like there is at Celebration Key. So let’s head into Relax Away Half Moon Cay! 🌴 🚋 The Tram Stops 🥥 Stop 1: Arrival Plaza / Coconut Line Tram Station This is the main gateway when you exit the new pier. You’ll find Guest Services, Shore Excursions, the artisan market, restrooms, lockers, the Rum Time Bar Shack—and this is where you catch the tram. 🥭 Stop 2: Mango Tram Stop Here you’ll find the complimentary Orchid Beach Grill & Bar, which also offers breakfast for early arrivals, along with daybeds and water-sports rentals. 🍋 Stop 3: Lime Tram Stop This stop has the Lil’ Tiki Bar, private beach cabanas, beach rentals, and a local gift shop. 🍍 Stop 4: Pineapple Tram Stop Here you’ll find the Stay Awhile Beach Shack, beach rentals, daybeds, and private cabanas. 🪵 Stop 5: Guava Tram Stop This is the main dining area on the expanded north side, featuring the Hibiscus Beach Grill & Bar and complimentary beachside barbecue lunch. The First Aid station is also located here. 🥑 Stop 6: Avocado Tram Stop The final stop features the Luna Tide Beach Bar, daybeds, and cabanas. We had heard that if you walk past Avocado, you can eventually get to the other side of the island. However, they’re currently doing construction and expansion, so that area isn’t accessible right now. 🐎 And yes… you can ride horses right along this beach! We actually saw several horses while we were there. We didn’t do this excursion this time because we’ve done horseback riding in the past with our kids! That’s one thing we can check off the list! ❤️ 🍽️ And then there was lunch… Well… I guess we were so hungry that we forgot to take pictures of our food! 🤪😂 Both the Orchid Beach Grill & Bar at Mango Stop and the Hibiscus Beach Grill & Bar at Guava Stop offer complimentary lunch. Here’s what you’ll typically find: 🥗 Coastal Salad Bar Fresh greens, vegetables, dressings, and side salads. 🍔 From the Grill Burgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken, and veggie burgers. 🍗 Island Favorites BBQ chicken, pulled pork, cold-cut paninis, bean stew, rice & peas, mac & cheese, and French fries. 🌮 Build-Your-Own Nacho Bar Chips with cheese sauce, pulled pork, chili, salsa, jalapeños, sour cream, and more. 🍪 Desserts Apple crumble, brownies, cookies, and fresh fruit. 🥤 Drinks Complimentary water, lemonade, and iced tea are available at the self-serve beverage stations. And yes… THIS is the buffet we forgot to record! 😂🍽️ After our swim, we decided to head back to the ship for dessert…ice cream, of course! 🍦😁 Instead of taking the tram the entire way back, we decided to walk along the shoreline as far as we could before heading up to the road to catch the tram for the rest of the journey. And it seems like the Mardi Gras is following us! 🤪🚢 That ship is SO much bigger! We haven’t been on the Mardi Gras yet, but we’re definitely looking forward to experiencing it someday! ❤️ Thanks so much for watching and coming along with us!
