humble heroes - Jan Willem Rozenboom - Fugue adaptation

Jan Willem Rozenboom plays a striking adaptation of a fugue from Bach’s Das Wohltemperierte Klavier, performed together with Martijn Bosman (drums) and Hein Offermans (bass). Listen to the other track ‘La Chasse’ and the interview by Coen Witteveen and Rolf Delfos on this 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐛𝐞 channel. Jan Willem Rozenboom is a classically trained pianist, composer, and producer of Guus Meeuwis. ‘The combination of the two disciplines is very inspiring to me,’ he says. ‘My classical background adds to ideas for new pop songs, and playing with pop musicians gives me a refreshing take on classical music.’ Jan-Willem Rozenboom, piano Hein Offermans, bassMartijn Bosman, drums Subscribe to our Substack newsletter: https://humbleheroes.substack.com/sub...
