JEE Advanced 2015 Physics PYQ – Rotational Motion
In this video, we solve a JEE Advanced 2015 Rotational Motion problem based on a rotating ring, two point masses, and conservation of angular momentum.
A ring of mass M and radius R is rotating about a fixed vertical axis. Two point masses move radially outward along massless rods. At a certain instant, the angular velocity changes, and we need to determine the distance of the second mass from the centre.
This is an important JEE Advanced problem for understanding how moment of inertia and conservation of angular momentum are applied when masses move radially.
