Sunday October 4Th | Thank God First This Morning & Watch what happens next | Breakthrough & Victory

Start this Sunday morning with a powerful prayer of thanksgiving, faith, and expectation. Before you ask God for what you need, take a moment to thank Him for bringing you into a new day. This Sunday morning prayer is a time to acknowledge God’s goodness, surrender your worries to Him, and pray for new blessings, divine guidance, protection, favour, peace, strength, open doors, provision, and the establishment of the work of your hands. As the first light of this Sunday morning breaks across the sky, pause for a moment and breathe. Whatever you are facing today, bring it before God. Whether you are praying for your family, your finances, your work, your business, your future, your health, your relationships, or simply asking God for peace in your heart, use this morning prayer as a moment to place everything in His hands. This Sunday morning prayer begins with thanksgiving because God deserves our praise before our requests. We thank Him for life, mercy, protection, provision, answered prayers, closed doors that protected us, open doors that blessed us, and every unseen way He has been working in our lives. In this prayer, we ask God to order our steps, give us wisdom and discernment, protect our going out and coming in, guide our decisions, keep our families safe, establish the work of our hands, and lead us into the opportunities He has prepared for us. We also pray for new blessings and new opportunities according to God’s will. We ask for favour, provision, strength, peace, wisdom, divine direction, spiritual renewal, and the grace to recognise the doors God is opening. We surrender our plans and our future to Him, trusting His timing and His wisdom. If your heart is carrying anxiety, uncertainty, disappointment, or unanswered questions this Sunday morning, bring those burdens to God. His Word reminds us that He is our refuge and strength, our Shepherd, our help in trouble, and the One who keeps us in perfect peace when our minds remain fixed on Him. This prayer is also for your family. We ask God to watch over our homes, protect our loved ones, bring peace into our relationships, give us wisdom in our conversations, and keep us from danger, deception, unnecessary trouble, and decisions that can bring sorrow. Bible verses included in this Sunday morning prayer include Psalm 100:4, Psalm 118:24, Jeremiah 32:17, Psalm 46:1, Psalm 25:4–5, Psalm 37:23, Psalm 121:7–8, Psalm 91:11, Psalm 90:17, Philippians 4:6–7, Isaiah 26:3, Psalm 23, Psalm 34:8, Psalm 28:7, Isaiah 40:31, and John 14:27. Let this Sunday begin with gratitude instead of worry, faith instead of fear, and prayer instead of anxiety. Thank God first. Trust Him with what comes next. Whatever this day brings, remember that God is with you, and His presence is greater than every situation you may face. 🙏 If you are praying this Sunday morning, write AMEN in the comments and declare your faith in God. May the Lord guide your steps, protect you and your family, establish the work of your hands, fill your heart with peace, and lead you into every blessing that is according to His perfect will.
